After the loss of her sister, Sofie finds herself a new identity.
Sofie is asked by her parents to close down her late sister Emmas Facebook-account. When she does she is introduces to a virtual world in which it is clear that her sister has spent a lot of time. Just as soon as she enters, plenty of messages are sent to Emma, asking where she has been. Sofie is curious, but hesitant at the first encounter of the world. Her interest in it grows over time and she slowly falls in love with being a virtual character. The family has taken a great hit with the loss of their older daughter, who was the glue of the family. Sofie is frustrated about the way her parents are handling her death; she feels that her mother tries to remove Emma from their history. As an escape she goes back to the chat-room. She finds a liking to all the attention the virtual people are giving her. It starts to make her feel more self-satisfied, but it is also a way of keeping her sisters memory alive.
