Freedom (A New Jerusalem) is a music video which shows how the killing of American George Floyd became a global movement and a focus for anti racism feeling across the world. Using simple imagery of worldwide protests, we see the power of the Black Lives Matter sentiment and how this idea has brought together all human beings, no matter their race, gender or nationality. Musician Jon Scott was inspired to write the song when his two teenage sons joined the London BLM protests. What he saw in them - their passion, their anger - moved him deeply and the song Freedom (A New Jerusalem) was born.
